How to watch VCT 2024 Masters Madrid — format, schedule, and teams

The Valorant Champions Tour 2024 will host its first international LAN event of the year in Madrid, Spain. The VCT 2024 Masters Madrid will bring 8 of the world’s best Valorant teams together, combining the viewership and following of the four major regions: the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China.

VCT 2024 Masters Madrid format

VCT 2024 Masters Madrid begins with a three-round Swiss Stage on March 14. The first round of matches will feature a regional winner and regional runner-up in each game, and each game will feature two teams from two different regions. If a team loses two games, they will be eliminated; the requirement for advancement to the Playoffs stage is two victories. Between each round, a random draw will determine the match-ups.

Playoffs begin on March 21 with a double-elimination bracket and will conclude 3 days later on March 24. Valorant has also decided not to use seeding from the Swiss Stage, and a random draw will determine the matches for the first stage of playoffs.

All matches of the event will be best-of-threes, except for the Lower Final and Grand Final matches, which will be played as best-of-fives. March 24 will also feature two special events alongside the Grand Final: Valorant will be revealing a new Agent live on stream, as well as hosting a Showmatch with yet-to-be-announced participants.
